Job Summary:
We are looking for a Qualified HR and Compliance Manager who will lead the organization’s
human resources team and ensure that all human resources related and administration activities
are carried out smoothly and effectively. As the HR and Compliance Manager will work
closely with the senior management to develop policies and strategies related to human
resources. You will also need to ensure the successful implementation of the policies and
strategies throughout the organization and will be responsible to ensure that all HR needs of the
company are aligned with the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business
strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or
other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through development, engagement,
motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the
organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Ensure full compliance with all health & safety obligations.
- Drive Learning & Development activities in line with corporate objectives.Maintain HR Records.
- Regularly audit and review key areas with Line Managers, including holiday balances,
completion of performance reviews, upkeep of training records.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for new and existing employees
globally to ensure a smooth employee experience, maintaining legal compliance in all
areas of HR, H&S and local labour laws.
- Respect the need for confidentiality at all times with all sensitive discussions,
documents or proposal
Requirements
- 10+ years working experience in senior role as HR in reputable organization.
- Experience in Handling Industrial Relation with Employees under Trade Unions in the
workplace.
- Having legal background will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Experience with CMA and managing disciplinary hearings.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of
the company.
- In-depth knowledge of Labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Good understanding of: Labor laws and employee welfare standards.
- Environmental regulations such as waste management and emissions. Factory safety standards, including fire safety and equipment maintenance.
- Certifications like LEED, BSCI, or Fair Trade, if applicable
