Our Client, an established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in civil works, fabrication, and welding to oversee and supervise the execution of various plant-related infrastructure projects. The role involves managing all aspects of on-site civil and fabrication work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and optimizing resource utilization. This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations by ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site civil and fabrication activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment and smooth workflow.
- Prepare and assess construction and fabrication plans, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and project goals.
- Track project milestones and progress, proactively addressing delays or issues to maintain timelines.
- Allocate and manage resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to enhance efficiency and control costs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Resolve on-site issues and operational bottlenecks to maintain continuity of work.
- Supervise all fabrication activities within the plant and workshop, including inspection and validation of welding work.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including daily logs and reports.
