Our Client, a reputable manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and experienced NPD Engineer to enhance and optimise its production processes. The role involves improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating product quality through the implementation of new production technologies and process improvements. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot technical issues, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production line.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Design, implement, and oversee enhancements to production workflows and systems.
- Conduct root cause analyses of production-related issues and establish preventive measures.
- Work closely with production teams to resolve technical challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet defined specifications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and quality guidelines.
- Stay informed on industry advancements, trends, and emerging technologies in production engineering.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
