• Set up, operate, and maintain tool room machinery such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, CNC equipment, and other precision machines.
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on tool room equipment and ensure minimal downtime.
  
• Manufacture, modify, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  
• Inspect and measure finished tools and parts using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure compliance with tolerances.
  
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment in the tool room.
  
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to meet tooling and machining requirements.
  
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and documentation of repairs, calibrations, and modifications.
  
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in machine performance and tooling processes.
  

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  
• Proven experience (3+ years) in tool room operations and machining in a manufacturing industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of tooling, precision machining, and metalworking techniques.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  
• Skilled in using measuring instruments and maintaining quality standards.
  
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
