Job Summary:
Our client from a manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated storekeeper to oversee stock and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate stock records. The Storekeeper will play a key role in optimizing warehouse efficiency and ensuring seamless stock control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, store, and dispatch products marketed by the company.
- Ensure all received and delivered products conform to company standards.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock rotation, availability, and procurement.
- Maintain and update automated inventory databases.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and stock restocking.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Optimize inventory control procedures to minimize wastage and stock shortages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred) or a Diploma in a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in stock and warehouse management.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Software such as ERP.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, stock tracking, and reconciliation procedures.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
