Our client, a leading social marketing organization focused on providing safe and affordable family planning and HIV/AIDS prevention products, is seeking a dedicated Medical Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting family planning products to healthcare professionals, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and maintaining in-depth product knowledge. Additionally, the role involves meeting sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, and conducting market research to inform marketing and sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Promote Family Planning Products: Effectively communicate the benefits and uses of family planning products (such as contraceptives, intrauterine devices, and fertility products) to healthcare professionals.
- Develop Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including gynecologists, obstetricians, general practitioners, and pharmacists.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the family planning product range, including features, benefits, and scientific evidence to answer questions effectively and overcome objections.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client accounts.
- Market Research: Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities. Use this data to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Training and Support: Educate healthcare professionals on the proper use of products, offering ongoing support and training where necessary.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver impactful sales presentations, ensuring clarity on product features and benefits, and addressing concerns and questions from healthcare professionals.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all promotional activities comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry guidelines for medical products.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales visits, customer interactions, and other relevant data. Submit weekly and monthly reports on performance, activities, and market conditions.
- Event Participation: Attend medical conferences, seminars, workshops, and promotional events related to family planning to enhance knowledge, network with healthcare providers, and generate leads.
