Our client, a leading company in the solar energy and renewable solutions sector, is seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, documents, and packages, while ensuring the company vehicle is kept in excellent condition. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations and maintaining compliance with road safety and internal policies.

• Transport staff to meetings, field visits, and site inspections in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Deliver mail, documents, and packages between offices, clients, and suppliers.
  
• Support logistical needs for company events and activities.
  
• Perform daily checks on vehicle condition, including fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
  
• Ensure timely servicing and preventative maintenance of the vehicle.
  
• Immediately report any mechanical issues, incidents, or accidents.
  
• Maintain an up-to-date vehicle logbook recording mileage, fuel consumption, and destinations.
  
• Ensure all transport-related documentation and trip authorizations are accurate and current.
  
• Adhere to all road safety and traffic regulations.
  
• Keep the vehicle clean, both inside and out, and in presentable condition at all times.
  

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  
• Secondary school education or equivalent.
  
• At least 3 years of experience as a company or NGO driver.
  
• Familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and geography.
  
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  
• Excellent time management and punctuality.
  
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  
• Good physical condition to handle long hours of driving and occasional loading/unloading.
  
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
  
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
