Job Summary
Our Client, a Technology Company, is looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to perform and coordinate accounting duties within the organization. The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities;
- To maintain and update the export and wholesale balances on weekly bases and maintain credit limit on the local customers (including follow up on credit sales payments)
- To follow up and regularly checking for receipt issuing & invoice machines performance and reports on daily and monthly bases. This includes machine repairs and license renewal.
- Asset register and asset purchases i.e. vehicles and trucks including issuing of LC and follow up to the end process of purchase.
- Monthly report of sales and reconciliation on the sales date entries.
- Issuing credit note on the adjustment on the invoice and send the adjustment form to TRA.
- Updating the sales for service levy and observe the timely payment
- Issuing the report on stock components from the store and work on the issuing.
- Stock reconciliation and stock movement
- To book invoices as per receipts received.
- To reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare AP invoices.
- Posting incoming payments from institutional customers.
- Managing payables and receivables; pending POs, Inventory Management, Pending Debtors and Creditors, Imprests etc.
- End of month bookings in preparation for financial books.
- Statutory compliance
- Comply with all Company policies, circulars, guidance and procedures circulated within the Company from time to time.
- Any other office-related duties as may be assigned by the Superiors from time to time.
