• Plan and deliver ICT lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum (primary, secondary, or tertiary level).
  
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to students’ varying levels of understanding and abilities.
  
• Stay updated with the latest trends in ICT education and integrates technology effectively into classroom teaching.
  
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through tests, assignments, and exams.
  
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and the ethical use of technology.
  
• Organize and supervise ICT-related extracurricular activities, including coding clubs or computer literacy programs.
  
• Prepare students for ICT-related exams, certifications, or competitions.
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems, including servers, routers, computers, printers, and projectors.
  
• Assist in the installation and configuration of new ICT equipment.
  
• Perform routine checks, backups, and updates to the school's ICT infrastructure.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to students, teachers, and staff.
  
• Maintain an inventory of ICT equipment and oversee the safe and efficient use of ICT resources.
  
• Ensure the security of the school’s ICT systems, implementing necessary data protection and cyber security measures.
  
• Liaise with external ICT service providers when necessary for repairs or system upgrades.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, ICT Education, or a related field.
  
• Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  
• Prior experience in teaching ICT at [insert applicable level(s)].
  
• Hands-on experience with ICT technical support and maintenance.
  
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and popular software packages (MS Office, Adobe, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with networking, data security, and hardware troubleshooting.Strong understanding of teaching pedagogy and educational technology.
  
• In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
