Job Summary
Our Client, a Manufacturing Company, is looking for a qualified Network Engineer who will be responsible for creating IT networks
for business. His/her duties include using their IT knowledge to develop company
networks, coordinating with company leadership to identify network needs and
providing assistance to employees and other individuals on how to use the
network effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining computer
networks including mainframes, VPNS, routers and other physical hardware.
- Installing and configuring
network equipment.
- Creating firewalls and
updating virus protection software and date security systems to keep data and
communications protected.
- Monitoring computer systems
to improve network performance for all the systems.
- Troubleshooting, resolving
and communicating networking issues to other employees and management.
- Implementing disaster
recovery procedures.
- Maintaining current
knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer
the best solutions and protection to company systems.
- Execute the purchase of
goods or services approved by the management.
- Create and maintain
relationships with vendors/suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and
supply contracts.
- Maintain and update a list
of suppliers.
- Ensure that the products
and suppliers meet quality standards.
- Work with team members to
complete duties as needed.
Requirements
- The candidate should be familiar and knowledgeable with the
following devices SOPHOS FIREWALL, CISCO SWITCHES, IP PHONES, CCTV NVR CAMERAS, AZURE CLOUD, COMPUTERS & PRINTERS
TROUBLESHOOTING and MONITORING APPLICATION.
- Network Engineer education and training requirements in Cisco Certified Network
Associate CCNA, Cisco Certified Network
Professional CCNP, Cisco Certified
Internetwork Expert CCIE (Optional to increase candidate’s employability.
- Bachelor Degree in
Information Technology IT.
