Job Summary
Our Client, a Manufacturing Company is looking for a motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join the team. As a Procurement Specialist, he/she will be responsible for assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation and preparation of purchase orders. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our commitments to customers are met.
Responsibilities;
- To find out the material requirements based on projected
productions (MRP).
- To Schedule the deliveries to avoid stock out situation.
- To maintain the stock norms of different items.
- To create POs in the system and to communicate to the
suppliers accordingly.
- To follow up with
the suppliers for timely delivery of items.
- To maintain
delivery documents / information into proper system.
- To raise alarm
timely for any upcoming material shortage issues.
- To develop new
suppliers.
- To negotiate with
the suppliers for better pricing.
Requirements
- Graduate in any
field.
- Should be
comfortable in Verbal and Written Communication (English).
- Should have basic
commercial knowledge in purchase process.
- Minimum 5 years of
work experience in Material Planning / Procurement.
- Working in any
FMCG company will be added advantage.
- Must have
understanding of international purchase and Incoterms.

purchase
