Job Summary
Our Client, a Manufacturing Company, is looking for a qualified Parts Management Specialist who will be responsible for sourcing, ordering, and managing all of the parts and components needed for a wide variety of products or systems, such as vehicles, machinery, or electronics.
Responsibilities;
- To physically
identify and categorize different types of spares / consumables in ERP.
- To ensure on time
GRN and issuance of spares as per customer’s requisition.
- To maintain all
the spares / consumable related documents properly.
- To track and
monitor proper utilization of spares.
- To provide timely
reports on cost center wise consumption pattern of spares / consumables.
- To set up ROP
(Re-ordering Points) of different critical spares and to monitor current stock
levels against ROP.
- To negotiate with
the suppliers to get better rates of the spares / consumables.
- To develop new
suppliers.
- To create and maintain
the spares stores as per the proper standards.
- To ensure the
proper stock count of spares inventory (Zero deviation in stock count)
- To follow strictly the purchase process with integrity.
