Summary:
Our Client, a Lubricant Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Salesperson with strong B2B
sales experience in the lubricants and motor oil industry. The ideal candidate
will have a solid understanding of the local market in Tanzania, as well as
experience in regional trade with neighboring countries. A technical
background in lubricants or mechanical applications is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the
company’s lubricants and motor oil sales in Tanzania and neighboring
countries.
- Identify and establish
new business opportunities in key sectors, including automotive workshops,
fleet operators, industrial companies, and distributors.
- Achieve and exceed sales
targets, focusing on volume, profitability, and customer retention.
- Negotiate and close deals
with B2B clients, ensuring competitive pricing and contract terms.
- Conduct market research
to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Maintain strong
relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and
repeat business.
- Provide product
recommendations and solutions based on customer needs and applications.
- Work closely with
technical teams to support clients with lubrication solutions and best
practices.
- Follow up on payments,
ensuring timely collection and adherence to credit policies.
- Develop a thorough understanding
of lubricants, motor oil applications, and industry standards.
- Educate customers on
product benefits, usage, and maintenance practices.
- Stay updated on
advancements in lubricants technology and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit
regular sales reports, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and market
analysis.
- Collaborate with the
marketing team to plan promotional activities, campaigns, and product launches.
- Ensure compliance with
company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in the lubricants, automotive, or
industrial sectors.
- Experience in Tanzania and neighboring markets (Kenya,
Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, or Mozambique) is required.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or
a related field is preferred.
- Industry
Knowledge: Strong understanding of lubricants, motor oils, and their
applications. Prior experience in working with international brands (Total,
Shell, etc.) is an advantage.
- Language
Skills: Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
- Skills:
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Mobility:
Willingness to travel frequently within Tanzania and to neighboring countries.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
