Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic HR solutions to a portfolio of business units. The HRBP will serve as the primary contact for senior leadership and zonal management on HR-related matters, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives. This role is pivotal in managing talent, enhancing performance, and driving employee engagement, particularly within the agricultural sector.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies, including mass recruitment and onboarding, to meet the needs of agricultural projects and business units.
- Support performance management by ensuring the implementation of SMART objectives, adherence to review calendars, and fostering a performance-driven culture.
- Utilize performance data to manage skills, talent retention, succession planning, and the development of robust long-term talent pipelines.
- Design and implement training programs in collaboration with internal and external providers, tailored to identified needs, to enhance employee skills and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, manage people risks, and achieve clean audit reports while addressing employee issues through data analysis and policy recommendations.
- Oversee induction and orientation programs for new employees, updating personal files and enhancing onboarding processes through feedback analysis.
- Drive employee relations and engagement by addressing trends and root causes of issues, promoting strong communication, and managing disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Prepare and manage the annual HR budget, aligning it with strategic plans, and maintain a database of resolved HR issues and performance reports.
- Facilitate the implementation of personal development plans, including Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high performers, to support career growth and retention.
- Act as a key liaison between employees, supervisors, and top management, fostering effective stakeholder management and ensuring smooth communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field from a
recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HRBP role, preferably in the agricultural sector or
similar industries.
- Strong business acumen and HR expertise across multiple HR disciplines.
- Proficient in change management, relationship management, leadership, and people
management, including coaching and mentorship
