• Identification of information and documentation requirements to demonstrate compliance with RAP commitments, national legislation and International standards (IFC).
  
• Working closely with various department units and stakeholders to compile and consolidate necessary M&E documents into information systems.
  
• Work with department units to establish and track clear RAP key performance indicators (KPIs).
  
• Will be responsible for be focal point for all external audit or review of achievement of RAP objectives.
  
• Will be responsible to be focal point for reviews of RAP compliance with relevant IFC Performance Standards.
  
• Will be responsible for ensuring tracking and following corrective actions associated with reviews of RAP outputs and outcomes and compliance.
  

Requirements

• Strong contemporary knowledge of IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles and their application in resettlement planning and implementation within Tanzania.   
  
• Capacity to operate independently and in a ‘hands-on’ manner within a small team environment, with changing priorities and agreed deadlines.
  
• Good verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to positively contribute to team decision-making and effectively implement agreed actions.
  
• Capacity and ambition to extend accountabilities as the Company grows.
  
• 15+ years post-graduate experience.
  
• Successful management of resettlement planning and implementation programs in Tanzania.
  
• Familiarity working in a project financing context with lenders, independent E&S consultants and owners’ construction teams Resource or construction sector project development and operations experience preferred.
  
• University Degree in a relevant discipline.
  
• Post-graduate training/certification.
