Our client is seeking a Front Desk personnel who will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest service by managing financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This position involves providing a welcoming and professional experience for guests while ensuring smooth cash handling operations at the front desk. Responsibilities:
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate payment collection and receipt issuance.
- Process payments using cash, credit cards, and other electronic payment systems.
- Reconcile daily transactions and maintain accurate records of cash drawer balances.
- Provide courteous and professional service, addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Monitor and maintain front desk supplies, reporting shortages or equipment issues as needed.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial and operational standards.
- Promote hotel services and amenities to guests, offering suggestions for enhancing their stay.
- Prepare and submit financial and operational reports as required by management.
- Address and resolve financial discrepancies or guest-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or finance is a plus.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a hospitality front desk role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient in handling cash, credit card machines, and accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism.
