Our client is looking to hire a storekeeper who will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations within the company’s stores, ensuring all inventory is properly stored, accounted for, and readily accessible. This role requires maintaining an organized, efficient, and process-based facility, while coordinating effectively with other departments to meet supply needs. The storekeeper will ensure accurate record-keeping and oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining high standards of organization and detail. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, possess high integrity, be attentive to details, and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing & managing the daily operations of the company stores.
- Ensure all inventory is properly stored & accounted for.
- In charge of maintaining an organized & efficient (Process based) stores facility and coordinating with other departments to meet their supply needs.
- Ensure proper records are kept and organized.
- Overseeing the receipt, storage and distribution of products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitoring inventory levels & movement and generating periodic re-stock schedules that ensure stock availability. This includes aging stocks schedule that can inform sales.
- Organize & lead periodic/monthly stock taking exercise that lead to accuracy in stock levels.
- Ensure high level security of all stocks in the stores is maintained and always monitored.
