Job Summary;
Our Client, a Project Management Capacity-building firm, is looking for a qualified Business Development Manager who will be a key player in the growth strategy. As the primary driver of
business expansion, he/she will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with
clients, and managing the entire sales process. His/her role will involve both strategic planning and hands-on execution, with a strong
emphasis on leveraging digital marketing channels to generate leads and close sales. He/she will be expected to understand the full
scope of the services and how they can be tailored to meet the diverse needs of clients.
Given the nature of the business, the ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the project management landscape and
the ability to communicate the value of the services to potential clients. He/she will work closely with the training and consulting leads
to ensure that the offerings are aligned with market demands and client expectations.
Responsibilities;
- Strategic Growth Planning: Develop and implement a
comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with company Consult’s long-term goals. This strategy should focus on
financial gain, market expansion, and client satisfaction.

Client Acquisition & Management: Identify and pursue new
business opportunities by arranging and leading meetings with
prospective clients. Tailor presentations to address the specific
needs and objectives of each client, and effectively communicate
the value of company Consult’s services.

Lead Management: Proactively manage leads generated
through various channels, including inbound enquiries, social
media (both organic and paid campaigns), website registrations,
and referrals. Ensure a high conversion rate by following up with
leads and closing sales.

Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales process,
from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing. Ensure
that all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory
requirements and adhere to company Consult’s standards.

Market Research & Analysis: Continuously monitor market
trends, client needs, and competitor activities to identify
opportunities for growth. Use this information to refine and adjust
the business development strategy as needed.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong,
long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
Provide exceptional after-sales support to ensure client
satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records
of sales, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
Regularly report on progress to senior management and provide
insights on areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the training
and consulting teams to ensure that our services are effectively
marketed and delivered. Provide feedback on client needs and
market demands to inform service development.

Mentorship & Team Development: As the business grows,
mentor and develop entry-level staff into effective salespeople,
ensuring that they are well-equipped to contribute to the
company’s success.
