Job Summary;
Our Client is looking for The Head of Pre-School who will be responsible for providing
strategic leadership and overseeing the operations of the Preschool. The
incumbent will work closely with staff, students, parents, and the community to
ensure the delivery of a high-quality education that meets Preschool curriculum
standards and promotes the holistic development of students.
Responsibilities;
- Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the school, in accordance with the Preschool curriculum, and inspire staff, students, and parents to align with the vision.
- Establish clear goals and strategies to achieve academic excellence and school improvement.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring effective administration and management of resources.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Preschool Curriculum, promoting high-quality teaching and learning practices.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and assessment strategies that meet the needs of students.
- Monitor curriculum delivery, ensuring its alignment with Preschool standards and external examination requirements.
- Select experienced and dedicated teaching staff.
- Provide professional development opportunities and support to enhance teaching practice and promote continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to teachers, identifying areas for development and recognizing achievements.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that nurtures the holistic development of students.
- Implement student welfare programs, including counseling, and behavior management strategies.
- Promote student engagement, leadership, and personal growth opportunities.
- Foster positive partnerships with parents, involving them in their child's education and school activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, school events, and policies.
- Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance the school's resources and opportunities for students.
- Identify opportunities for school development and growth, based on the needs of the local community.
- Participate in educational networks and forums to share best practices and stay abreast of trends in education.
- Promote the school's reputation and achievements through marketing and public relations initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or any related field.
- Exceptional leadership skills.
