Job Description
Responsibilities
- Processing of online bank payments.
- Creating invoices + fiscalization and emailing customers
- Creditors: Timely payment of supplier invoices
- Processing payroll and respective taxes
- Statutory payments such as corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT
- VAT reconciliation
- Bank and other account reconciliations
- General annual license and fees renewals
- Other general accounting and administrative work as may be required
Requirements
- Fluent in English; both spoken and written with conversational Kiswahili skills
- Good organizational skills such as time management, and prioritizing tasks
- Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook / Office 365
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in an office environment
- Understanding of general accounting concepts
- Familiarity with Zoho Books is a bonus but not required
