Job Summary:
our client is looking for someone responsible for identifying new hospitality business development opportunities with
local corporates, NGOs, and travel agents. The role requires an A-type personality driven by
meeting targets, but with a warm and service-oriented approach in order to connect personally
with bookers and executives. Your typical day involves prioritising your sales visits with the GM,
going out in the field meeting with prospective customers, and sharing feedback with your
team. You may also liaise with existing customers to understand their needs better and help
improve the guest experience. A passion for growing in the hospitality business, an outward
personality, sales-minded energy, and a service-oriented personality are important for this role.
To ensure success as a sales manager, you should have strong knowledge of modern sales
techniques, a passion for sales, and excellent communication skills. A top-notch sales manager ultimately creates strategies that align with modern consumer trends.
Responsibilities;
- Contributing to the development of sales strategies.
- Use your knowledge of local market activity and conditions (you are “in the know”) and
potential business to prioritise and organize sales leads (segmentation and targeting).
- Must
independently awareness and build knowledge of the local economy, competitor trends, and
general business movements
Conducting market research on rival products. - Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to
maximize revenue
- Working with the team to develop targeted sales strategies
- Answering client queries about product specifications and uses.
Build up new clients and relations. - Maintaining client relations.
- Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.
- Creating and presenting sales performance reports.
