Job Summary
Our Client, an Automotive Company is looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for warehouse daily activities. He/She will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies
by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, he/she is responsible
for securing the warehouse as well as supervising staff.
Responsibilities
- Receive all parts orders from various suppliers,
Verifies the quantities are received as per the packing list. Assists in
restocking all parts bins and pulling parts for monthly parts returns.
- Determines the required replacement parts,
according to inspections of old parts, requests from the customers or
technicians, or customers' descriptions of the malfunctioning part.
- Keep the parts manager informed about any problems
within the inventory or parts department to minimize any inconvenience.
This includes but is not limited to inventory discrepancies and unauthorized
removal of inventory
- Ensure the necessary documents are completed
before delivering any parts to either the service department or walk-in
customers & maintain all warehouse records
- Manage communication with various departments for
all potential resources for various parts business and determine
communication plans for customers.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities
required by the management
- Assists internal and external customers in
identifying and satisfying their parts needs through electronic parts
catalogues, customer equipment records, and other parts reference material
to ensure delivery of the proper parts to the customer.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in procurement and supply,Materials Management or Equivalent is preferable
- Confident, organized and with excellent
communication both written and verbal skills with a good sense of planning.
- At
least 1 years in automotive business, preferably in the warehouse
- Familiar with warehouse management and
operations Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable in a growth target driven
environment.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain
confidentiality on sensitive matters.
- Proven experience in client acquisition and
retention and relationship building skills.
