Must be physically fit to Inspect the tires replace and to determine the source of abnormal tire wear also must be able to follow the Company Maintenance Policy Preventive Maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform Duties in a safe and responsible manner
Change wheels using jacks, lug wrenches, and other hand and power tools
Inspect Tire casings for defects, such as holes and tears
Inflate inner tubes and immerse them in water to locate leaks
Seal punctures in tires using rubber cement to buffed tire casings prior to vulcanization process
Reassemble tires into wheels
Balance wheels using required counterweights onto rim
Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply
Order replacements for tires and tubes
Complete paperwork and records for repairs
Making sure that your working place is always clean
Branding of tires
Maintain and make minor repairs to tire handling equipment
Carry out any other related duties that may be assigned
Be able to repair minor fault and service tools and machine such as Compressor, Tyre changer and Hydraulic Jacks.
Requirements
Possess physical strength to be able to lift heavy items
Ability to write and using measument tools such as Depth tire Gauge
Technical knowledge of tire production and repair technology is a must
