Job Summary:
Our client, a prominent manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in any field and proven experience in cash-handling or cashier roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the POS system, handling payments accurately, providing excellent customer service, and supporting daily sales operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the POS system to process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately.
- Handle all payment types, including cash, cards, and mobile payments.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers promptly.
- Verify cash float at the start and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
- Report discrepancies, shortages, or overages to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with daily sales reporting and secure handling of cash deposits.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
- Follow company policies for cash handling and transaction processing.
