Responsibilities:
Support the setup and implementation of the Chart of Accounts and financial framework in Odoo ERP
Accurately record and monitor all daily payments, receipts, and financial transactions
Track rental contracts, lease agreements, and ensure timely collection of rental income
Oversee supplier and client payment schedules and enforce compliance with contract terms
Manage disbursement and repayment plans for bank loans and other credit facilities
Ensure full compliance with TRA tax obligations, including VAT and withholding tax filings
Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management
Prepare and analyze budget forecasts, income/expense summaries, and cash flow statements
Support contract management by tracking payment obligations and execution timelines
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and data integrity
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA qualification
Proficiency in Odoo Accounting modules or the ability to learn quickly
Experience in the construction or real estate industry (preferred)
Strong understanding of lease tracking, rental schedules, and property-related finance
Proven experience in preparing financial reports and managing cash flow
Thorough knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and statutory compliance
Ability to calculate and manage withholding tax and VAT obligations with precision
Detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to maintain financial confidentiality
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with contract tracking systems
