• Receive, compile, and organize financial records while maintaining proper filing systems for future reference.
  
• Process documents related to financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Review ADNs, GRNs, and invoices for correctness and post them into the accounting system using appropriate codes.
  
• Prepare reports required by the Financial Controller to support the compilation of the unit’s overall financial statements.
  
• Ensure systematic and accessible filing of accounting records.
  
• Manage tax-related activities to optimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
  
• Maintain data quality and integrity in management information and reporting systems.
  
• Monitor and control capital investment budget activities.
  
• Participate in stocktaking and physical/financial asset verification exercises as directed.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
  
• CPA certification is an added advantage.
  
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in taxation tasks.
  
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in accounting or a related finance role.
  
• Solid knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) as well as relevant local accounting principles and regulations.
  
• Strong IT skills, including accounting systems proficiency.
  
• Self-motivated with initiative and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  
• Excellent team player and communicator, with fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
