Our client, a well-established clearing and forwarding company, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Trucking Operations Officer to oversee daily transport operations. The role involves coordinating vehicle movements, tracking shipments, managing ERP-based reporting, and ensuring compliance with security and border procedures. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vehicle sourcing and movement across various locations.
- Track shipments in real time and manage border formalities.
- Oversee transport security measures (GPS, door locks, escorts).
- Generate accurate, ERP-based daily shipment reports.
- Review cross-stuffing, inspection, and border entry reports.
- Process payments, debit notes, and invoicing in the ERP system.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and suggest improvements.
