Job Summary

• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle: planning, tendering, contract negotiation, sourcing, and performance evaluation.
  
• Procure civil works contracts, structural steel, prefab infrastructure, concrete, building materials, site services, and rental machinery.
  
• Oversee subcontractor qualification, pricing control, payment scheduling, and framework agreements.
  
• Collaborate with construction managers to forecast material demand and prevent delays.
  
• Monitor construction progress and dynamically adjust procurement strategies.
  
• Onboard and supervise local contractors ensuring compliance with labor, safety, and technical regulations.
  
• Handle procurement logistics including construction yard setup and site delivery schedules.
  
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, donor/government requirements, and legal frameworks.
  
• Oversee digital procurement tools and documentation systems.
  
• Lead internal/external audits and reporting processes.
  
• Supervise and mentor junior procurement staff.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement, with demonstrated field execution in large infrastructure or EPC/EPCM projects.
  
• Strong experience in construction-related procurement including materials, contracts, and contractor management.
  
• Solid understanding of procurement regulations, labor laws, and safety standards.
  
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  
• Experience working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environments.
  
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
