Job Summary;
Our Client, a Cosbtruction company is seeking a highly skilled
and experienced Quality Control Head to join the team. The Quality Control Head
will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management and
assurance across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in construction quality control, excellent attention to
detail, and a proven track record of implementing effective quality control
measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Control
Processes: Develop and implement comprehensive quality control processes
and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and
client specifications.
- Quality Assurance Oversight: Oversee all quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, and
documentation, to ensure adherence to project requirements and standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage
a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, providing guidance,
training, and support to ensure consistent and effective quality control
practices.
- Project Quality Management: Work
closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify
quality requirements, establish quality objectives, and monitor project quality
performance throughout all phases of construction.
- Supplier and Subcontractor
Management: Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the
quality of materials, components, and workmanship meet project specifications
and standards.
- Quality Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement
and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, including
inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance issues. Prepare and
present quality performance reports to senior management and project teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify
opportunities for process improvement and innovation in quality control
practices and implement best practices to enhance overall quality performance
and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering,
construction management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in
construction quality control or a similar role, with a proven track record of
success.
- In-depth knowledge of construction
quality management principles, practices, and standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills,
with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external
stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to
delivering high-quality results.
- Certification in quality management
(e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma) is a plus.
