Who we are: EduKwanza is an academic and university coaching start-up based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania. We believe in formal education as a critical part of growth. Our goal is to help students feel and do their best while in school. EduKwanza’s services include advising on career plans, counselling for university admissions, facilitating standardized tests and guiding visa applications. What we do: Career counselling: EduKwanza invests in preparing students for undergraduate and postgraduate applications for schools around the world. We do this directly with schools or with individuals. Counselling services include: Preparing a road map while at school, guiding students on what extracurricular activities to pursue and helping to imagine future careers. University admissions: We are building strong relationships with universities around the world who accept Tanzanian students. EduKwanza counsellors help students with university research, selection processes, and provide the latest information on courses and representative events, including virtual webinars. Testing centre: Part of applying for higher education involves standardized testing. EduKwanza is a registered testing centre for IELTS, TOEFL, Pearson, GMAT, SAT, UCAT and LNAT. Our tutors are also able to help students prepare for international standardized tests, including practice testing and results review. Visa Guidance: When EduKwanza students receive admission to institutions outside of Tanzania, we support them in applying for their student visas. This can be a difficult process for the student and their guardians, especially when applying with financial aid. Our experts are able to help households understand what is required, why and how to send it out. UCAS Application: The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) is based in the United Kingdom and facilitates admissions to all UK higher learning institutions. EduKwanza is a registered UCAS centre and can assist all students seeking to travel to the UK to study. Additional Assistance: We understand that university admissions can involve a lot to do. EduKwanza seeks to prepare our students for excellence in a progressive and scheduled format. Our students are able to access help on personal statements, resume creation, documentation for applications and other such services.
